Trees are sold and packaged in bundles of 10. Ex: ordering "2" is equal to ordering 20 trees. Multiple species cannot be combined into a bundle.

Description

Silver Leaf Willow - Salix alba sericea

Bundle of 10 seedlings. Each seedling measures 12" - 24" tall. 

This attractive tree is fast-growing and drought-resistant. It has beautiful, glossy green leaves with a silver underside that shimmer in the wind. It is very cold and wind-resistant, and its leaves remain green into November. This tree is a good choice for shade, privacy screens, and windbreaks, and insects are attracted to its flowers. 

Height at maturity: 50 ft 

Width at maturity: 50 ft  

Lifespan: 40-50 years 

Growth Rate: 4ft/year 

Light conditions: part sun - full sun 

Soil conditions: Moist, well-drained soils, but will withstand short-term flooding during spring

In-row Spacing: 8 ft.  

Between Row Spacing: 16 ft.
