The Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is a versatile and resilient tree with strong ecological, and aesthetic value. Its adaptability to various soils and climates, along with its fast growth, makes it an excellent choice for reforestation, and landscaping projects. The tree’s distinctive orange-brown bark, long slender needles, and rapid growth make it an attractive feature in both natural and managed landscapes. Scots Pine provide food and shelter to a variety of wildlife.

Growing Conditions:

  • Thrives in various soils and climates
  • Can tolerate dry, sandy and poor soils, but prefers well-drained soils
  • Thrives in full sunlight, but can tolerate some shade
  • Fast-growing
  • Tall tree – 12-18 m (40-60 ft), and sometimes taller
  • Straight, tall trunk
  • Deep root system – good for planting on slopes

     

 

Information about Ordering –

Trees are sold and packaged in bundles of 10. Ex: ordering "2" is equal to ordering 20 trees. Multiple species cannot be combined into a bundle.
