The White Spruce is a versatile, cold-hardy evergreen tree that offers both ecological and economic benefits. White Spruce provides valuable habitat for wildlife, provided important shelter and food throughout the year.  It is a hardy tree and can provide beauty and shelter year-round.

Growing Conditions:

  • Highly cold-tolerant
  • Prefers well-drained, acidic to neutral soils, but can adapt to tolerate slightly alkaline soils
  • Does best in moist, well-drained soils
  • Requires full sun for optimal growth, but will tolerate partial shade
  • Moderate to fast growing
  • Medium-large tree – 12-18 m (40-60 ft) with a spread of 6-7.5 m (20-25 ft)

 

Information about Ordering –

Trees are sold and packaged in bundles of 10. Ex: ordering "2" is equal to ordering 20 trees. Multiple species cannot be combined into a bundle.
